i'm pretty "new" to this religious thing.

i've always had my beliefs and i've been to just about every church there is to go to (except jw) and they all basically preach the same thing in different ways.

fine, i can deal with that.

my ex wants to switch weekends with me which is unusual, and i'm fairly certain i have plans for that weekend .

how the hell do you respond to that?.

my 5 year old was speaking to his father on the phone last nite.

he mentioned that i had bought some babystuff for the new baby his father's wife just popped out including a cute pink bunny, and his first question to my son was "it's not an easter bunny is it?

Volcano!

woo hoo..there is a volcano trying really hard to erupt in my state!!

so cool..it's on an island by itself and is currently experiencing indigestion.

just thought i'd share....i don't look forward to the ash fallout or anything, but it's pretty exciting to see mother nature at work!.

I need some advise regarding my son

...who spends time with his jw father, and in turn, his jw father takes him to meeting, etc.

i cannot change this as it's court ordered (the nites he spends with his dad) but when he turns 6 (he's almost 5 now), our custody will change, and i will gain the time that he would otherwise be going with his dad.

until then, of course, he's learning things, that i would love to show him a way to think for himself.

since i first posted here, things in my life with the jw's has changed.. my jw ex and his current wife are still royal pains, and they isolate themselves from the very family that had chosen to not speak or even acknowledge me during our relationship.

this, of course in turn isolated my ex's family from our son while they were living there.

they went out of their way (while living with the 'rents) to keep our son away from his grandparents, aunt & cousins until they finally got evicted (yes evicted) from the 'rents house and got their own place.

How do you handle a Volitile Ex??

my ex....is an idiot.

i have had problems with him from the get go when it comes to custody of our son.

we have gone to court and established some ground rules, which he consistantly bends & twists to suit him.

I choked

i have done up a letter to my ex asking him to cease & desist with cramming his "religion" down our sons throat and also to stop our son from calling his wife "mom" and other issues that he's in violation of our custody order with.

it was a nice letter, i told him knock it off or we're going to mediation (in our custody agreement as well) to figure it out.

this was at the advise of my attorney.
